If I’m going to be honest here, what these guys did was probably illegal. I would never suggest any of you do anything illegal, that just wouldn’t be proper. However, I can say that maybe this kind of thing isn’t so bad.
A team of graffiti artists spend 16 days, used over 500 cans and 50 different colors of spray paint to create a large-scale wall mural of the Madonna. They drew inspiration for the style of the piece from the works of Czech Art Nouveau painter Alphonse Mucha, and incorporated symbols of Montreal’s history into the mural.
This time-lapse graffiti video shows how the artists used spray paint and rollers while standing on hydraulic lifts to paint this enormously beautiful wall mural.
